DeepWaters LPC does not participate in insurance networks or bill insurance companies directly.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Working outside insurance allows therapy to be guided primarily by your needs, goals, and the work we decide is appropriate together rather than by an insurance company's requirements for coverage.
Can I Use Out-of-Network Benefits?
Possibly.
Some insurance plans reimburse members for a portion of therapy provided by an out-of-network clinician.
At your request, DeepWaters LPC can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Benefits vary significantly by plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance company before beginning therapy if you plan to use out-of-network benefits.

A Note About Privacy
Using insurance - even for out-of-network reimbursement - generally requires sharing information with your insurance company.
A superbill may include information such as the services provided and a diagnosis when required for reimbursement.
If maintaining greater separation between your therapy and your insurance company is important to you, you may choose not to submit a superbill.
What About HSA or FSA Funds?
Depending on your plan and the purpose of treatment, therapy expenses may be eligible for payment or reimbursement through an HSA or FSA.
Because eligibility rules vary, check with your plan administrator or tax professional if you are unsure whether your sessions qualify.
You do not need to understand all of this before reaching out.
If you have questions about fees, superbills, or private-pay therapy, I'm happy to discuss them before you begin.
